According to a new report from The Elec, Samsung Display will begin trial production of its QD-OLED display next month. This QD-OLED line of production is called Samsung Q1 and will be made at Asan Factory in South Korea. The plant is expected to produce 15,000 display panels in the first month and then work up to 30,000 monthly installments. It should be noted that for the QD-OLED display panel (Quantum Dot-Organic Light Emitting Diode) is a hybrid technology because it is made by combining OLED screen technology and Quantum Dot itself. Samsung Display is reportedly set to begin testing QD-OLED panels next month.
